The pottery in the Silver Ridge catalog can be
ordered in any of six different glazes. Information about each
glaze appears below along with an example of a piece finished in
that glaze. If you wish, you may click the image to view an
enlargement. All pots are microwave and dishwasher safe. You can
place them in the oven as long as you DO NOT PREHEAT. Each piece is individually thrown,
glazed and fired. Variations in size, color and texture are
inherent variables in the process and make each piece unique.

Green Ash
A typical wood ash glaze, breaks
rusty where thin. Applied with red and blue
highlights. |

Shino
A golden, semi-matte glaze with
red and teal splashes. Sparkles provided by wood ash
mixed with rutile. |

Red
Classic bright candy apple copper
red with purple and blue highlights. |
|
|
|
Black
A deep, shiny black with red and
blue highlights. |
|
|
|
Mint Green
A soft, sea foam green with earthy highlights. |
|
|
|
Purple
A bright purple with red highlights. |
